The Final Work Word- the last email
Well.
My hearts thumping as I write this, but after choking up yesterday at my premature leaving thingy it’s nice to have the final (of the redundancies) word.
Not straying too far from the subject but did you know Paul McCartney was 27 when the Beatles split up? He spent 10 years with the Beatles achieving international fame and stardom and still had all of the rest of his life to punish us with WINGS, scratch our heads at The Frog Song and tut in disapproval at marrying some gold digger with one leg.
…On a smaller scale I’ve spent 10 years away from my native Liverpool here in Leeds. And 5 of those right here in Calendar. Whilst at 27 I haven’t managed international fame or iconic status, I know I have spent some of the best years of my life here and met some of my bestest friends.*
And I’m truly really heartbroken to say goodbye. Even if it is to bugger off around the world. So to steal from the Scouser above I’ll quote
‘There are places I’ll remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone, and some remain’
I might get up to many things… but I solemnly promise never to marry a one legged gold digger…..
Peace out, much much love
and may you’re God be with you

Et all….
